Types of Effects You Can Incorporate

Posted: April 21, 2012 in Lenticular Technology

We can produce images with an illusion of depth(3D) or the ability to change or move(animate/flip/morph) as the image is viewed from different angles. This technology was created in the 1940’s and now has currently evolved to show more motion and depth.

There are many stunning effects you can choose from:

1. 3D Effect:

This creates depth on a flat surface. The lenticular 3D effect is generated by splicing several frames together to trick the viewer into seeing the 3D effect. This works most effective when objects in the foreground, middle and background as this creates much more depth. We can convert images to 3D from flat photographs.

2. Zoom Effect:

This makes the image appear to move closer or further away. This impressive effect works best when the background is used throughout all the animated images. It works so well because it makes objects jump out at customers.

3. Flip Effect:

This is the simplest lenticular animation effect as it makes the image flip from one image to the next. It’s an exquisite marketing tool for explaining before and after situations. The Flip Effect allows between 2 and 5 separate images to be combined and viewed independently when viewed at different angles.

4. Full Motion Video:

This utilizes multiple frames of an action which shows movement from the beginning to the end. You can supply image frames or a movie file. Ideal for product demonstrations, time lapse photography, we can utilise up to 24 frames on a standard product and up to 60 frames, or 4 seconds of movie footage on our premium, HD high frame rate product.
